I have had a loft bed before and it’s not something I would like to repeat again. However, some of these are totally cool and I’m saving them.

Move that screen up a couple/few feet and put a fireplace underneath it and I would simply never be found anywhere else in the house again.
I once said to my mom, “hey. wouldn’t it be cool if there was a piece of furniture that was sort of, like, halfway between a bed and a couch, but squishy on all sides?” and she was like “what are you talking about that’s stupid”

Oh, oh, yes, in lieu of an actual bedroom I’d like to have an office with that cozy niche tucked in the side and supplied with real bedding.
In lieu of an actual house I will have lots of rooms full of big squishy couches and beds and hammocks and pillows and all the walls will be bookshelves and I will never, ever leave.
